BARITES also known as BARYTES, is a form of Barium Sulphate. Normal white or Buff coloured,is found throughout the world as an ore. BARITES is mined by both underground and surface methods, and sold as a fine white powder.

Barites know as a Barium Sulphate is a mineral product useful in mutliple industries now . Our Mangampet BARITES deposit is the largest among the known BARITES of the globe with an estimated reserve of about 74 million tonnes. The deposit comprising beds of granular barites overlain by lapilli barites occurs within the Proterozoic Pullampet formation of the Cuddapah basin. Barites applications are found in Pulversising, Oil & natural gas drilling, paint, chemicals, ceramic and glass industry.
